Course overview
This is the next part of Special subject 1. This course introduces some special topics that can be the extended or advanced part of topics in Special subject 1. Students work in the same groups as in Special Subject 01 and develop an application based on the result of the researches in Special subject 01. Or they can conduct a further research for their topics.

This is a third year mandatory course which enrolled 20 students last semester (1, 2019/2020 session).

Use of ALIEN services and tools
The course has one tutorial every week that takes place in the computer labs of the Faculty of Information Technology. All tutorials of the Special subject 02 course are based on problem-based learning. For example, in the first week, students work in group to identify their own information system for one given scenario and proposed requirements for that application. They will have to identify stakeholders, functional requirements, nonfunctional requirements, input/output information of the system, and techniques to collect requirements.
