This conference, organized with the collaboration of the local ALIEN team, aimed at bringing together teachers, researchers, and students in higher education and all who are interested in the subject of academic success in higher education. In this 1st edition of CASHE: Conference on the Academic Success in Higher Education, the focus was on new technological approaches in the educational praxis of higher education. The ALIEN project and methodology was presented at the conference as one of the key presentations with about 75 attendants in the room from a total of 150 in the conference. Later on, a specific ALIEN instructor-training workshop took place.
