On February 17th, 2020 the third Instructor Training Event organized by Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), took place at the PBL Room that was created in UNITEN for the ALIEN project. The project was presented to 18 instructors from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) that attended the training activity.
The main focus of this series of training is on the use of the AL/PBL platform to post and retrieve problems. It is expected that at the end of the training, at least ten instructors will become new members to the platform and post problem there. The specific objectives of the training are listed below.
1. To expose a web-based platform to be used in implementing active
learning/problem-based learning for academic courses.
2. To guide the participants on the use of the platform.
3. To create a Special Interest Group (SIG) among lecturers who are interested to implement AL/PBL for their classes
Overall, the participants are able to quickly understand and use the features offered by the platform. They found the activities performed during the training useful and are looking forward to use the platform with their students later on.
