On Tuesday, 26 November, 2019, the first Instructor Training Event organized by University of Thessaly (UTH), took place at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The ALIEN project was presented to 9 instructors who teach in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and 2 PhD candidates who participated in the instructor training event. The attendants were presented the problem-based learning methodology as well as the objectives and activities of the project on promoting the adoption of problem-based learning as a strategic educational approach in higher education.
After the project presentation, the audience discussed about PBL and active learning and took notes on some new problems that will be uploaded soon on the ALIEN PBL Platform.
