Course overview
This course aims at providing students basic knowledge of academic writing for fourth year students who select thesis writing for their graduation. Students will learn how to write their thesis from chapter one to chapter five based on NUBB’s thesis guidelines, thesis proposal, and scientific papers.
Participants in piloting
A total of 60 students enrolled in the course in the 1st and 2nd semester of the 2019 – 2020 academic year, from February to June 2020.

Use of ALIEN services and tools
The objective of the activities to be performed is teach students how to write thesis, dissertation, scientific papers, reviewed papers, and other scientific reports. It equips student with academic writing skills: from introduction chapter to conclusion chapter of the thesis, and introduce students how to cite references properly based on APS Style. Moreover, it introduces students how to write their thesis in according with UBB’s thesis guideline.
