Course overview
This course will lead students to general idea of project management and also link it to the mining project. Lectures are provided first and follow by practical activities related that make the students understand the contents. Some part of the lectures required students to study by their own from the books and document provided through group work. Practical activities are from student’s experience, examples in books, and real problem or issue. Students are required to discuss in group starting from the small project and finally they need to write a project proposal that lead by the instructor guidelines.
Participants in piloting
This course is obligatory in the 5th year undergraduate program in the faculty of Geo‐resources and Geotechnical Engineering. 31 students are participated in this class.
Use of ALIEN services and tools
Students are required to share their intern experiences and instructors will link them to the lectures. Following the content of lectures, a practical activity is connected and given to students to think and share to the class such as in Project life cycle part, a small project that is related with the real situation in the Cambodia country side is created to link with this content. Finally, a simplify mining project is given to the students through group work and finally they need to submit the report.
